Andrew wrote his first novel at age 16. That novel was quickly exiled to a drawer and hasn't been seen since. 'The March of the Dragons' is his first published novel.

Andrew's background is in finance. He worked in Vietnam where he was first inspired to write 'The March of the Dragons'. He has been back in Devon for over a decade and is an active member of a writing group known as 'the Tothill scribblers'. Since his first novel, all subsequent works have focused on Devon, and more often than not, Dartmoor.

In his spare time, Andrew is a Knight in a medieval re-enactment group. He is also a keen student of history, a Dartmoor hiker, a wargamer, and along with his daughter  - a regular day tripper around Devon & Cornwall. He is also on a possibly unending quest to photograph and document every Bronze Age feature on accessible land on Dartmoor.
